Nursing Sister
No of Post: 16 posts
Essential Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. (Nursing) with 5 years experience as Staff Nurse.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 10300-34800/- + 3800/- Grade Pay Initial Pay 14590/-
Staff Nurse
No of Post: 36 posts
Essential Qualification & Experience: i) 10+2 with Science from a recognized board/university. ii) Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
iii) Registered ‘A’ grade nurse and midwife with State Nursing Council.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 10300-34800 + 3200/- Grade Pay Initial Pay 13500/-
Social Worker
No of Post: 01 post
Essential Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Community Health Nursing from a recognized institution. OR B.Sc. from a recognized institution with two years diploma in Social work.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 10300-34800 + 3800/- Grade Pay Initial Pay 14590/-
Junior Lab. Technician
No of Post: 05 posts
Essential Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. (Medical Lab. Technology) OR 10+2 vocational course in MLT with four years supervise professional experience including apprenticeship, if any, in atleast 200 bedded hospital / institution OR 10+2 with Science and Diploma in MLT with 4 years supervised professional experience under a Pathologist, Microbiologist, Biochemist
Scale of Pay: Rs. 5910-20200 + 2400/- Grade Pay Initial Pay 9880/-

Fees: A fee of Rs. 100/- for General & OBC Category and Rs. 25/- for SC candidates, as non-refundable, in the shape of demand draft payable at Chandigarh drawn in favour of Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. Physically handicapped persons are exempted from Application fee.
