Indian Institute of ScienceEducation and Research (IISER), Kolkata has been established in 2006 by the Ministry ofHuman Resource Development, Government of India. The Institute is looking for dedicated and committed candidates to fill up the following vacancies.
Name of the Posts:-
- Technical Officer – 1 Post
- Library Information Assistant – 1 post
- Office Assistant (Multi skill) - 2 posts
1. Technical Officer – 1 Post
Scale of pay: PB-3, Rs. 15600 – 39100/- with GP Rs. 5,400/-
Qualification and experience: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc. with first class in the area of Physical Sciences. Minimum 5 years of experience in Scientific organisations/ Universities/Institutes, in the areas of computer applications, sample preparation, magnetic and transport measurements.
2. Library Information Assistant – 1 post.
Scale of pay: PB-2, Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- with GP Rs. 4,200/-
Qualification and experience: Bachelors degree in library science with second class. 5 years experience in the capacity of professional assistant in a University Library or an institute of repute. Knowledge of computer application in various library activities of university/institute.
3. Office Assistant (Multi skill) - 2 posts.
Scale of pay: PB-1, Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with GP Rs. 2,800/-
Qualification and experience: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in handling office papers, computers, stores, laboratory equipment and audio visual equipment in reputed Government Institutions/Universities.
