Eligibility Details
Age : On 01.01.2011 – for candidates competing for Group A, C and D : 21 - 32 years (i.e. born not earlier than the 02.01.1979 and not later than the 01.01.1990). For Group – B (West Bengal Police Service) : 20 - 32 years (i.e. born not earlier than the 02.01.1979 and not later than the 01.01.1991). Upper Age Limit is relaxable as per rules.
Qualification : (i) Degree of a recognised University, (ii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling).
