Applications are invited for the following post for “Astrosat Satellite Project”. The selected candidate will be posted at the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics of the Institute at Mumbai, for a period of two years.

- 1. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT : One Post [Unreserved] ; Pay Band (PB-2) ; Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay : Rs.4200/- ; TME : Rs.24,435/- ; HQ : Mumbai.
Qual. : SSC/HSC and Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Industrial Electronics (60% marks) OR B.Sc. with Physics/Electronics (60% marks) OR Equivalent from a university/reputed institution.
Exp. : Desirable : i) Must have atleast 6 months experience on analog and digital circuit testing or designing. (ii) Experience with softwares like Labview, Matlab, C, C++, VB. (iii) Experience in PCB layout.
Age : Below 28 years.
