Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview for the following two temporary posts to work for a DBT funded Project ‘Isolation and characterization of collagen and gelatin from aquatic sources and development to pharmaceutical and food grade products of commercial importance, operated at Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin, Kerala – 682 029.


Name of the Posts:-

1. Junior Research Fellow (2 positions)

Qualification: (i) Essential: First Class in M.Sc (Biochemistry / Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry) / M. F. Sc. (Fish Processing Technology / Post-Harvest Technology) / M.Sc. (Industrial Fisheries) with NET qualification (ii) Desirable: Experience in instrumental analysis; Experience in Analysis of fish and fishery products for biochemical parameters; Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis;
Consolidated Emoluments per month: Rs. 16000/- + HRA.
