Eligibility Requirements: Those qualified in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing are eligible to apply. Selection Procedure consist of written examination with 70 Objective multiple choice questions for 70 marks. Weightage of 30 marks will be given to in service / experienced candidates. Service weightage will calculated based on following criteria:
1. 1 marks for each year after completion of the course. This will be for maximum of 10 marks
2. Service under contract: 20 marks
3. Those worked in tribal areas will get 4 marks for every 6 months of service. Those worked in rural areas will get 2 marks for every 6 months of service. And those worked in urban areas will be eligible to get 1 mark for every six months. Those worked for less than 6 months will not be considered.
Application forms and procedure will be announced very soon. Notification will be released and will be displayed on the website of Department of Medical Education / AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. The recruitment is likely to be completed by 15th January 2011.
