Applications are invited from the Indian National for filling up of 04 (four) posts of Pilots (02 - UR, 01 – OBC & 01 – SC) in the scale of pay of Rs.29100-54000/- (likely to be revised to Rs.32900-58000/-) lying vacant under Paradip Port Trust with following terms & conditions:

Educational Qualification & Experience:
(i) Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.
(ii)One year post qualification experience as Master/ Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.
(iii) Preference would be given to the person having Masters’ experience.
Age: 40 years as on 31.12.2010.
Pay: (i) Initial Basic pay – Rs.29100/-, (ii) IDA 43.4% of the Basic Pay as on 01.01.2011, which is quarterly revised as per Consumer Price Index,& (iii) marine allowance and/or cafeteria allowance as admissible. [Marine allowances include Actonnage, Length, Cold Move, Night Pilotage etc and Cafeteria – 46% of the Basic Pay].
