Applications are invited for filling up the post of Extension Assistant (Contractual) against the post of Assistant Professor provided in the scheme “Setting up of Regional Biogas Development and Training Centre at PAU CSS-5” on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs. 20,000/- per month with the following qualifications:
Name of the Posts:-
- Extension Assistant (Contractual)
i. 2nd Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
ii. Master’s degree in Civil Engg with minimum overall grade point average of 3.20 / 4.00 or OCPA 6.50 / 10.00 or 65% marks
iii. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language.
(If not the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).
Note: In case the candidate having Master’s degree in the field of Civil Engineering is not available for the post, the candidate possessing B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering shall be considered for the post.
Preference will be given to the candidate having knowledge of computer and experience of working in the allied field.
The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper complete in all respect along with attested copies of the testimonials and a Bank Draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to this office on or before 17-1-2011. The applications received after due date shall not be considered. The candidate should appear before the Selection Committee for interview on 20-1-2011 at 10. 00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.The tenure of the vacancy is for six months which is likely to be extended on the performance of the incumbent.
