Applications are invited for filling up of the following posts in this Museum & District Science Centre, Gulbarga
Name of the Posts:-
- Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Electronics): 1 Post (General) for VITM, Bangalore in the discipline of Electronics in the Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2,800/- plus allowances, as per Govt. of India rules. The total emoluments at the start as on date will be Rs. 22,200/-., Qualification & Experience: 3 Years Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with one year relevant experience after Diploma.
- Education Assistant ‘A’ : 1 Post – (Reserved for ST) for VITM, Bangalore in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2,800/- plus allowances, as per Govt. of India rules. The total emoluments at the start as on date will be Rs. 22,200/-., Qualification & Experience: B.Sc., with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Bio Sciences or Computer Science Subjects with 1 year post degree experience in relevant discipline.
- Lower Division Clerk: 2 Posts - (1 post reserved for the physically challenged with Locomotor disability as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India for VITM, Bangalore & 1 post unreserved for DSC, Gulbarga in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/- plus allowances, as per Govt. of India rules. The total emoluments at the start as on date will be Rs. 14,398/- at Bangalore., Qualification & Experience: 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University and a typing speed of 30 wpm in English on manual typewriter OR 9000 key impression per hour (kdph) on computer. Typing speed will be taken on computer only. Age between 18 to 27 years (10 years relaxable in case of physically challenged). In respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, the age relaxation is over and above the admissible relaxation of 5 years of SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
- Driver: 1 Post - (Reserved for SC) for DSC, Gulbarga in the pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/- plus allowances as per Govt. Rules. The total emoluments at the start as on date will be Rs.12,562/-, Qualification & Experience: VIII Standard must possess current / valid light and heavy vehicle driving license with minimum 3 years experience in driving Heavy Truck Vehicles, maintenance and minor repairs of such vehicles should also have a certificate of First Aid Course conducted by St. John’s Ambulance Association or an equivalent and have a normal sight without glasses.
Last date for submission of completed application in the prescribed form is within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/- is to be furnished only for the unreserved post of Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Electronics) in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, VITM and payable at Bangalore. However, SC/ST/Physically Challenged/Ex-servicemen & Women Candidates need not furnish the fee. Candidates called for aptitude test and interview will be paid single II Class Train/Bus fare as per rules on production of proof of travel. Candidates already working in Government, Semi-Government, Public Undertaking and autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel.
Application must be submitted in the approved form only and application received on plain paper will not be considered.
The incumbents are liable to be transferred to any science museums/centres under the control of NCSM anywhere in India.
The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme, and NCSM provides to its employees attractive facilities like Medical, LTC, PF, Group Insurance etc.
