APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT PROfESSORS ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS

Date of Interview :- From 3rd March till 7th March 2011(Check Details)


Walk-in-interview for filling of following posts as Assistant Professor under various departments of
this university will be held on the date mentioned against the disciplines. The proposed appointment will be made purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (excluding vacation period) or till such time the posts are filled on regular basis whichever is earlier:

1. Assistant Professor(95+ Posts)

Payment of consolidated emoluments to the contractual faculty will be based on the minimum of the pay in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39000/- i.e. Rs. 15600/- plus Grade pay of Rs. 6000/- plus DA (as applicable) only. No other financial allowance/facilities exist for contractual appointees. Retired persons below age of 65 years can also apply. However, for retired persons, if appointed, pay will be fixed as per provisions contained in CCS (Re-employed Pensions) order 1986.


Interested persons may appear for the wa!k-in-interview alongwith their bio-data, photo and original & attested copies of their educational and other relevant certificates between 9.301 am to 11.00 am on the date mentioned against concerned post for registration, verification of documents and interview in Senate Hall, 2nd
Floor, Administration Building, DTU Campus. Candldates who reports after 11.00 am will not be considered.
