Walk-in-interview for the position of junior research fellow(JRF) following fellowship is available under project “Impact of climatic variability on the cryoshere at antarctica and werstern Himalaya” Application are invited from the interested candidates. A monthly stipend of Rs.16000 + HRA pm for JRF shall be admissible as per rules.

- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)(01), Qualification – M.Sc/M.Tech (Statistics /Mathematics/Atmospheric Science / Meteorology/ Geo Science / Remote sensing) Minimum 1st class / 60% marks., Age – Maximum of 28 years age on the last date for receipt of application
Type written application with complete bio-data and attested copies of mark sheet certificates, caste certificates and experience certificates addressed to the director, Snow & Avalanche study Establishment, research & Development centre, Him Parisar, Sector – 37A, Chandigarh(UT) should be brought at the time of walk-in-interview. The application should attach a recent passport size photograph affixed on the right top corner of the first page of application with Indian postal order of Rs.10 drawn in favor of director, SASE-RDC, Him Parisar Sector-37A, Chandigarh alongwith the application.
The above position will be filled through walk-in-interview, which will be held at SASE-RDC, Him Parisar, Sector – 37A, Chandigarh on 25 Mar 2011(Friday) as per following schedule.
1. Application would be accepted up to 1000 hrs.
2. initial screening and verification of testimonials would be done between 1000-1100 hrs.
3. interview of the screened /short listed candidates would take place between 1100-onward.
