Applications are invited on plain paper for one position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to carry out research investigations in sponsored research project titled “Laser Shock Peening Technique for Surface Treatment of Welded Stainless Steels”, funded by Board of Research in Fusion Science and Technology (BRFST), under the supervision of Prof. G. Umesh, Professor and Principal Investigator, Department of Physics, NITK, Surathkal. The appointment will be for an initial period of one year.


Name of the Posts:-

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Salary: Rs. 16,000/- per month + HRA as per institute norms.

Educational Qualifications: First Class or equivalent in one of the following:


1. M.Sc in Physics or Materials Science
2. M.Tech from one of the following departments: Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Materials Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
