At this time, Publication department of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) requires some Assistant Editor and Proof Reader to complete the work of a time bond publication prepare for textbooks and other publication programmes. So applications are invited by NCERT for this recruitment. This enrollment is on contract basis.

- Assistant Editor(06), Remuneration: Rs. 21,000/-, Permanent status: 01 year, Eligibility Criteria:, Age limitation – not above 35 yrs, Educational Qualification – Bachelor Degree in Science or Arts from a recognized university and knowledge of required language., Experience needed – candidates must have 05 yrs experience of editing, compiling, proof reading and typography etc.
- Proof Reader(02), Salary: Rs. 8,100/-, Occupancy: 01 year, Eligibility: Essential Educational Qualification – Candidates should be Graduate in any discipline from recognized university and working knowledge of English and Hindi., Required experience – having 01 year confirmed exp. as a proof reader in reputed publishing house., Limit of age – maximum 30 years, Age relaxation will be given by as per government rule.

For Proof Reader – 12th May 2011, 2:30pm at publication department, ambedkar khand.
Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates as proof reader and assistant editor will be based on Skill test and Interview.
