The Nutrition Officer contributes to the overall effort of Country Programme implementation at state level within the framework of micronutrients programmes under Child Nutrition and Development programme and works closely with Departments of Health, Women and Child Development and Education at division and district level.
Takes responsibility for extending technical assistance in planning, implementing and monitoring of high impact interventions at division and district level, supporting system strengthening, monitoring and reporting of micronutrient nutrition and anemia control through Departments of Women and Child Development, Health and Family Welfare and Education.
The job holder works at the state, division and district level under the daily supervision of Nutrition Specialist.
