National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) proposes to fill up the following posts on purely temporary basis under the NACO project at NIE, Chennai.


Name of the Posts:-

1. Scientist-C (Project Coordinator) – 1 post – (Reserved for OBC), Age limit Not exceeding 40 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules, Salary Consolidated salary of Rs.34,020 + HRA p.m. for non-medical & Rs.44,179 + NPA+HRA p.m. for medical persons.
2. Scientist-B (Research Officer) - 2 Posts – ( 1 post reserved for OBC and 1 post reserved for SC), Age limit Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules, Salary Consolidated salary of Rs.28,350 +HRA p.m. for non-medical & Rs.37,024 + NPA+HRA p.m. for medical persons.
3. Technical Officer - A (Programmer/Data Manager) – 1 post - (Unreserved), Age limit Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules, Salary Consolidated salary of Rs.25,313/- per month
4. Technician – B (Data Entry Operator) - 4 Posts ( 3 posts are unreserved and one post reserved for OBC), Age limit Below 28 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules, Salary Consolidated salary of Rs.13,284/- per month.
