FINANCE OFFICER
Job description:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for planning, managing and monitoring all finance and accounts related activities of NCAER including maintenance of internal control systems, development and implementation of financial policies, adherence to accounting standards, preparation and analysis of financial results, enforcing budgetary and cost control measures, ensuring implementation of tax laws, supporting management and monitoring of NCAER investments, preparing cash flows, and developing and maintaining an effective management information system.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience in preparing project budgets and project monitoring;
2. Preferably 8-10 years' experience in handling accounting/finance functions;
3. Experience in interacting with and handling statutory auditors and chartered accountants;
4. Experience in interacting with the government set up as interaction with the Ministry of Finance and other ministries is involved;
5. Strong communication skills in English, both oral and writing;
6. Demonstrated inter-personal and supervisory skills;
7. Experience in working fairly independently, with minimal guidance;
8. Commitment with NCAER for at least the next three years;
9. Post-graduate degree, preferably in commerce and/or CA/ICWAI

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
Job Requirement:
Network Administrator (NA) will ensure the smooth running of the networking processes - implementing, managing and troubleshooting existing network and system environments, and supporting a variety of hardware. The incumbent will ensure that the performance and availability of the server and network infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards in order that maximum productivity is achieved. The incumbent will ensure the trouble shooting/maintenance of all versions of MS Office, softwares, laptops, laser printers, desktops, MFP’s scanners, routers and switches, Exchange 2003 server, MS Windows, 2003/2008, ISA Firewall, Anti Virus, Anti Spam, Web Security etc. NA will be responsible for the implementation, installation and configuration of systems, and the administration and support of those systems. NA will liaison with different vendors providing hardware, software, services and maintenance.
Good written and speaking communication, interpersonal, team-building, problem solving and supervising skills are essential.
Qualifications & Experience:
MCA/Graduate with PG Diploma in Networking and Hardware; MCSE/CCNA would be added advantage. 5-7 years of working experience in Hardware/Software Maintenance of a network of around 200 nodes is essential. The Council retains the right to relax selection criteria in exceptional cases.

Compensation is competitive with other similar research institutions in India and consists of a guaranteed and performance linked component. The appointments will be on a renewable 3-years contract with an initial probation period of one year.
MAINTENANCE OFFICER
Job Requirement:
Maintenance officer ensures that the building and facilities run efficiently, safely and in a cost-effective manner. This is done through proper maintenance, repair, installation or replacement of equipment machinery, fixtures, grounds and structures. The Maintenance Officer will also provide inputs into the development and implementation of comprehensive preventive maintenance programs, as well as supervise repairs and improvements. MO will be responsible for the security measures. S/he will also be responsible for the logistics and travel related services for the NCAER activities. MO will be responsible for all the logistical arrangements for the event management and general administration relevant to the maintenance unit, which include procurement and liaison with the Government and non-Government Institutions.
Strong written and speaking communication, interpersonal, team-building, problem solving and supervising skills are essential.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidate should be post-graduate. Preference will be given to candidates with degree/diploma in civil engineering or similar field. 8-10 years of working experience in similar capacity in institutional environment is essential. The Council retains the right to relax selection criteria in exceptional cases.
