University Grants Commission (UGC) NET Exam 2010
University Grants Commission (UGC) is going to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET). UGC NET 2010 will be held on 26th December, 2010 for determining the eligibility for the Award of JRF and Eligibility for Lectureship in universities and colleges. NET will be conducted in 77 subjects at 70 centres selected University Centres spread across the country. Last date for Applying On-Line is 25th Oct 2010. Last date for submitting offline applications is 1st Nov 2010.
UGC National Eligibility Test December 2010 will be held on 26th Dec 2010. Maximum age limit is 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship and there is no maximum limit for Lectureship. Candidates are required to send the print out of online filled Application Form (2 copies), fee receipt, Attendance Slip, category certificate & Admission Card at the respective test centres.
Application fee is Rs. 450 for UR, Rs. 225 for OBC and Rs. 110 for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates. There is no negative marking in Paper-I & Paper-II of UGC NET. Syllabus for NET 2010 is available here online.
