How to Apply
(1) The application should be on the format provided on Website http://www. aries.res.in of the Institute with relevant details and affixing one self attested recent coloured passport size photograph (2) Advance increments can also be given to a Meritorious Candidates. (3) Reservation is applicable as per the guidelines of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India norms (4) The caste certificate in respect of SC/ST/OBC will be required in the Govt. of India's Format (5) Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC & other categories will be applicable on production of relevant certificates as applicable under Govt. of India Rules. (6) Applications will be accepted upto 5.00 p.m. of 08-02-2011.
(7) The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in Bold letters ''Application for the post of …………''. (8) The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. No correspondence in this matter will be entertained by this office. (9) Mere fulfilling of prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right in the candidates to be called for test/interview. The Director reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason.
(10) Self attested Photostat copies of the documents of all the supporting facts must be attached. (11) All the applications should be sent to The Director, Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, (ARIES), Manora Peak, Nainital- 263 129 (Uttarakhand). (12) The candidates will be called for test/interview after screening. (13) The number of posts can be increased or decreased (14) The selected candidates can be posted at Manorapeak or Devasthal. (15) If the candidate is working in Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous Body, Statutory Body, application should be forwarded through proper channel or NOC should be produced at the time of interview. Vigilance clearance as per the following format should be attached with the applications:
