Application are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts at Central Inland Fisheries research Institute and its regional Centers, in the prescribed format, neatly typed on one side of the paper indicating on the envelope “Application for the post of _________”
Name of the Posts:-
- Assistant Administrative Officer : 1 (one) post (Un Reserved). The post will be filled at Regional Centre of CIFRI, Allahabad OR at any of the other Regional Centres/Headquarters of CIFRI. However, the candidate appointed is liable to be transferred to any ICAR Institute in India., Pay Scale : PB - 2 (Rs.9,300 – Rs.34,800/-) with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/-., Age Limit : 21 to 30 Years (The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the Government of India rules. The upper age is also relaxable up to 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative (ministerial) category), Essential Qualification : Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with working knowledge of Computer.
- Stenographer Grade III : 1 (one) post (Un Reserved). The proposed place of initial posting at present is at CIFRI, Barrackpore, Kolkata, However the candidate appointed is liable to be transferred to CIFRI, Barrackpore OR at any of its other Regional Centers OR to any ICAR Institute in India., Pay Scale : PB - 2 (Rs.5,200 – Rs.20,200/-) with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-., Age Limit : 18-27 years (The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per the Government of India rules. The upper age is also relaxable up to 45 years in the case of serving regular employee of ICAR in the administrative (ministerial) category)., Essential Qualification : (1) 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board OR university. (2) Proficiency in Stenography / Shorthand as per required speed.
- T-1 (Driver) : 1 (one) post (Reserved for OBC). The proposed place of initial posting at present is at Regional Centre of CIFRI, Bangalore However the candidate appointed is liable to be transferred to CIFRI, Barrackpore OR at any of its other Regional Centers OR to any ICAR Institute in India., Pay Scale : PB -1 (Rs. 5200 - Rs.20200/-) with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/-., Age Limit : 18-30 years. Relaxable for Reserved Candidates as per rules., Essential Qualification : (1) Matriculation pass qualification from a recognized Board. (2) Possession of a valid and appropriate driving licence (to drive both LMV and HMV) from prescribed Govt authority (The candidate will be further required to pass the practical skill test to be conducted by the Institute).
- Lower Division Clerk : 3 (Three) posts (1 Unreserved, 1 Reserved for OBC and 1 Reserved for SC). The posts will be filled up at CIFRI, Barrackpore Or at any of its Regional Centers. However the candidate appointed is liable to be transferred to any ICAR Institute in India. Pay Scale : PB -1 (Rs. 5200 - Rs.20200/-) with corresponding Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-. Age Limit : 18-27 years. Relaxable for Reserved Candidates as per rules. Essential Qualification : (1) Matriculation or its equivalent. (2) Proficiency at a minimum speed of 35w.p.m. in English Typing or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typing on Computers. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Application Fee
Application fees in form of a valid Bank Draft for Rs. 200/- in favour of ICAR-unit, CIFRI, Barrackpore and payable at Barrackpore / Kolkata, is required to be submitted with the application. Only SC/ST candidates are exempt from paying the fees.
