ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) is the lead Centre of DOS/ISRO for the Satellite Technology in the country and has grown into a premier centre for research and development with the primary responsibility for developing Satellite Technology and implementation of Satellite Systems for various Scientific, Technological and Application missions. ISAC has been carrying out design, fabrication, testing and management of satellite systems through time bound projects. ISRO Satellite Centre invites applications for the following temporary posts, but likely to continue indefinitely:


Name of the Posts:-

1. Heavy Vehicle Driver A – 9
2. Light Vehicle Driver A – 5
3. HINDI TYPIST – 1

Pay & Allowances: The gross emoluments at the minimum of the Pay Band for the post of LVD/HVD”A” will be Rs.11209/- and for the post of Hindi Typist will be Rs.14470/-. In addition, the employees are also eligible for House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc. The employees will be governed by the New Defined Contribution Pension Scheme. ISRO provides free transport (or in lieu Transport Allowance), limited housing facility (or in lieu House Rent Allowance), advances for purchase of conveyance, construction of house, etc., Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, etc., and extends subsidized canteen facilities. ISRO also provides attractive medical benefits to its employees.


Age limit: For the post of HVD/LVD “A”: 18 -35 years as on 10.02.2011 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.


For the post of HINDI TYPIST: 18 - 26 years as on 10.02.2011 (31 years for SC/ST candidates & 29 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per rules.

Officer (R&R), ISRO Satellite Centre, Department of Space, Old Airport Road, Bangalore-560 017, superscribing the cover with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______________________ (POST NO. _________________ and CATEGORY __________), so as to reach on or before 10.02.2011. Applications received without the copies of certificates and after the due date will not be considered.
