The Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation Ltd. (Mahabeej) a public sector company wishes to recruit dynamic professionals for the following posts.

Job Details:-


1. Deputy General Manager (Production)
Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Agronomy / Plant Breeding/Genetics/Botany and Seed Technology. Ph.D, Special training in seed production, seed certification, seed testing, plant multiplication and Tissue Culture at a senior level are preferred. More than 10 Years experience in planning, execution, administration and seed production at senior level.
Age (Maximum ) : 50 years.
Pay Scale : PB-3 Ea.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6900/-


2. Deputy General Manager (Marketing)
Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Agriculture Science with a Post
Graduate Degree/Diploma in Business Management of Marketing from reputed
Institutes will be preferred. More than 10 Years experience in planning, marketing strategy, monitoring market research, development of distributors network, pricing, advertising and demand forecasting at senior level.
Age (Maximum ) : 50 years.
Pay Scale : PB-3 Ea.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6900/-


3. Senior Breeder : One Post
Qualification & Experience : M.Sc(Agril.) Genetics & Plant Breeding with Ph.D. Preferable. Minimum 5 years experience of handling research activities either in Public or private sector in the development of hybrid varieties. Etc.
Age (Maximum) : 35 years (Open), 38 years (Reserved)
Pay Scale : PB-3 Ea.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6900/-


4. Plant Engineer:- 2 Posts (ST-1, OBC-1)
Qualification & Experience : B.Tech.(Agriculture Engineering) 1st Class. M.Tech. (Processing Engineering) will be preferred. Minimum three years experience in Seed Processing Engineering/Seed Technology. Candidates already working in Seed Industry will be preferred.
Age: Max. 38 years. Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-


5. Junior Plant Engineer:- One post reserved for VJNT category.
Qualification & Experience : B.Tech.(Agriculture Engineering) 1st Class. M.Tech. (Processing Engineering) will be preferred. Minimum one year experience in Seed Processing Engineering/Seed Technology. Candidates already working in Seed Industry will be preferred.
Age: Max. 38 years. Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4400/-


6. Accountant/Internal Auditor:- One post reserved for VJNT category.
Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Commerce with Advance Accountancy with a minimum of three years experience in Maintenance of books and finalisation of accounts OR Passed in CA(Inter)/ICWA(Inter) with minimum one year experience in accounts department.
Age:Max. 38 years. Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4400/-


7. Assistant Field Officer – 10 Posts (SC-1,ST-1,VJ(A) 1,NT(B) 1,NT(C) 1, OBC-2, Open-3)
Qualification & Experience : B.Sc.(Agriculture) preferably 1st Class. Candidates having experiencein seed industry will be preferred.
Age:Max. 35 (Open) , 38 years. (Reserved)
Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4300/-
