The Punjab State Government is going to be conducting Teacher Eligibility Test from this year, in the name of PSTET 2011. The Department of School Education, Government of Punjab has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test – PSTET 2011 to the SCERT, Punjab. Director SCERT Punjab, Chandigarh here by asking online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for appearing in Punjab state teacher eligibility test (PSTET) 2011. Those who are eligible candidates have to apply through online from 27-04-2011 to 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm.
Eligibility Criteria: The minimum qualifications for class 1 to 5, Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education B. El. Ed. The minimum qualifications for class 6 to 8, B.A./B.Sc and passed or appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final 4–year BA/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.).
Application fee: Non-refundable Bank Demand draft for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates. The candidates who intend to appear for both papers 1 and 2 the fee shall be Rs 1000/- for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 600/- for SC/ST candidates in favor of Director, CDAC, Mohali, payable at Mohali/Chandigarh.
How to apply: The eligible and interested candidates have to apply through online from http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in between 27-04-2011 to 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm. The candidates follow the user guideline and instructions at the time of online apply.

1. Candidates have to apply through online from 27-04-2011 to 13-05-2011, up to 5.00 pm.
2. Before applying online, candidates pay the application fee in the form of demand draft for Rs 500/- for GEN/OBC and Rs 300/- for SC/ST candidates in favour of Director, CDAC, Mohali, and Payable at Mohali/Chandigarh.
3. After submission of online application, candidates require to 2 copies of the online application print outs and one copy of the online application send it with a self attested photograph along with the original demand draft of requisite fee, to the following address, “Director, C-DAC, A-34,Phase 8, industrial area Mohali, on or before 18-05-2011.
